{Podcast} Savvy Business Show #39: Accelerate business growth by accessing your inner voice

For the past 4 or so years, I’ve walked past this sign in my neighborhood that reads: “Opportunity lies within.” I always like reading it, it inspires me and acts as an anchor reminding myself to look inside for answers. We are so powerful in our own unique way.

Yet, we tend to look outside ourselves for answers, thinking that what we already know isn’t good enough or all that’s there is fear and doubt. Have you ever felt those tugging moments in the pit of your stomach that something just isn’t right?

Today on the Savvy Business Show we talk with Kelly Covert about accessing your inner voice to propel you forward.

Today on the Savvy Business Show we talk with Kelly Covert about accessing your inner voice.

You can’t pour from an empty cup. We become so focused on what others are doing that we just need to step away. We need to clear the way the allow ourselves to listen.

There isn’t a one size fits all. Release the guilt. You are enough right now.

{Podcast} Savvy Business Show #38: What’s your average?

You Are The Average Of The Five People You Spend The Most Time With

Jim Rohn

Today on the Savvy Business Show we dive into who you are spending your time with and how you can up-level your network.

Let’s dive in… have you taken a look at who you are spending time with in your business circle?

Ask yourself:

  • Who do I choose to collaborate with?
  • Where am I investing my time and money?
  • Who do I spend time with?
  • What clients do I choose to work with?
  • What event do I attend?

Then start doing the things to upgrade your community. You can start with the people in your community. Who is really lifting you up and rooting for your success? Find a way to spend more time with these people.

Then register for events that inspire you and let go of groups that don’t bring out your best and highest self.

I would recommend finding a community that vibes with you. Don’t stop hanging out with your friends but do invite new friends!

{Podcast} Savvy Business Show #36: Think you’ve been playing small?

{Podcast} Savvy Business Show #36: Think you’ve been playing small?

On today’s Savvy Business Show has business got a new definition? The phrase I hear most used with a new business is “playing it small”. But, in the real world, there is nothing small in the entrepreneur world. If anyone thinks that they are playing it small in their business, then it might be tough for you to succeed. No savvy business owner ever plays it small. It takes courage to start up a completely new business along with getting funds for it and that is nothing small.

We are always on the verge of taking risks in order to make our business grow. One thing all business owners need is to just give themselves some time for personal development. Through this process everything will change for you, you’ll get confident in your skills, you’ll trust yourself more, and you’ll experience breakthroughs.

There is pressure around the phrase “playing small.” People who think of themselves as playing small are on the verge of beating themselves up over recognizing or not the opportunities for expanding their business. The pressure of not achieving something slows down the entire process of leveling up and making the business grow. What I believe is that self beating only increases the feeling of guilt and also perpetuates negative self-talk.

  • How the phrase “playing small” causes pressure in your business and keeps you from up-leveling
